Hello viewers, let me start today’s post by asking you this, how much of your food is natural, organic, preservative or chemical free? 100%, 50% or nothing at all?

The latter is the more realistic, our vegetables and fruits are covered in chemicals of all kinds –  synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers and sewage sludge-based fertilizers. As if that wasn’t enough, we of course eat lots of packaged and junk foods as well and naturally don’t drink enough water. Our bodies are completely fed up of us!

Health problems are increasing by the day and our physical strength is diminishing. Our organs aren’t exactly operating at full capacity either. The good part is a problem this big has a simple 7 part solution.

Let’s get started:

Step 1: Throw out all foods that you would normally find in a packet, tin or box.

Step 2: Stock up on superfoods: Berries – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or cranberries. Dry fruit – Prunes, nuts, seeds. Quinoa, flaxseeds and organic coconut oil.

Step 4: Protein is your best friend, so stay close to omega 3 rich foods – Salmon, Tuna. Lean meats such a Turkey is also great.

Step 5: Its okay to occasionally substitute lunch/dinner with a gigantic bowl of fresh and crunchy salad/fruit. And no, I’m not talking about putting 3 pieces of lettuce and half a tomato together, or just having an orange. I’m talking these, Image credit to FullyRaw:

Step 6:  Head out to your local fruits and veggies market. Chances are the produce you find there will be organic and locally grown which means fewer chemicals and fresher food. Step 7: Try reducing your quantities of salt, oil, butter, margarine and sugar. These additives pack on more fat, health and cholesterol problems than you can imagine. Instead focus on eating healthy sugars from fruits or having dark chocolate for dessert. Use about a tablespoon of olive oil/salt in your dishes and you’ll see that it will be enough. You likely won’t even taste the difference.
